Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how UPay Technology LTD (“UPay Business”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit this website or submit an enquiry through it.

This site is a marketing page for UPay Business card programs. It does not provide accounts, hold funds, issue cards, or process payments.

1. Data we collect

  • Information you give us. Full name, work email address, company name and — where you choose to provide it — phone number.
  • Technical data. IP address, browser user-agent, device type, referring URL and pages viewed, collected via analytics and advertising tools where you have consented.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. See section 6.

Do not submit card numbers, private keys, wallet seed phrases or identity documents through this website.

2. How we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiry and assess programme eligibility.
  • To contact you about the card programs you asked about.
  • To measure the performance of our advertising campaigns.
  • To detect and prevent spam, fraud and abuse.
  • To meet legal, regulatory and anti-money-laundering obligations.

3. Legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)

  • Legitimate interests — responding to business enquiries and securing this site.
  • Consent — analytics and advertising cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time via Cookie Preferences in the footer.
  • Legal obligation — where retention or disclosure is required by law.

4. Sharing your data

  • Service providers acting on our instructions — hosting, email delivery, CRM and analytics.
  • Advertising platforms — where you consent, we may share a hashed (irreversibly encrypted) version of your email address and phone number with Meta or Google to measure ad conversions.
  • Programme partners — card issuers, BIN sponsors and processors, where necessary to assess and deliver a card programme.
  • Authorities, where legally required.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country of residence. Where data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses, with appropriate technical safeguards.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the site. Analytics and advertising cookies load only after you accept them. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie Preferences in the footer, or through your browser settings.

7. Retention

Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction with us, unless a longer period is required by law or to establish or defend legal claims.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent. Contact [PRIVACY EMAIL] to exercise these rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Security

We apply encryption in transit (TLS), access controls and rate limiting on our forms. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

10. Children

This site is intended for business users and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
